How to Repair Your Doll
Step 1 — Clean and Prepare: Wipe the area with a mild cleaner to remove oil, dust, and powder. Apply a thin layer of baby oil to improve heat distribution.
Step 2 — Power On and Heat Up: Attach the soldering tip and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The screen will show 260°C (500°F) and flash three times before heating begins.
Step 3 — Surface Scratches and Minor Cracks: Glide the tip along the crack to gently fuse both edges. Keep the tip moving to avoid burning or widening the damage.
Step 4 — Deeper Tears: Melt small TPE scraps with the knife and work the material into the tear, pressing lightly to level the surface as you go.
Step 5 — Restore Skin Texture: While still warm, use fine sandpaper or a textured cloth to recreate the natural skin finish. Avoid smooth surfaces — they leave the skin looking shiny.
Step 6 — Finish with Baby Powder
Once the repair has fully cooled, dust the area lightly with baby powder to restore the soft, comfortable feel of the skin.
